Damon was looking for Annabelle during her visit, to speak with her for a moment between four eyes.
She strolled around, stroking her fingers along some fancy books, belated she reacted when she heard Damon's voice.
His presence made her straighten proudly, but she felt the opposite in the inside.
He explained her, he wanted to talk about their future.
That he respects a lot that they could make out plans and that she supports William,
that they kept the child. He also explained how their not ready to tackle a family life, to be parents and raise a child together
when they barely even know each other.
He havent seen William this down ever since he was born, it pained him both to see him like that, but also to ask Annabelle...
"my wife and i, we would raise the child like our own, like a brother os sister to william and no one would ever know this happened.
You and William could discover other levels of your relationship other than chained to each other because of a kid, and you wouldnt
need to give up your job if you need to move to him to raise the child together. I am not saying in future you wouldnt make a great couple
i just can not see this rainign down suddenly like it happened." he tried his best to put it nicely, but there really was not way.
His suggestion shocked her and she automatically covered up her belly as if he had almost threatened her.
Partly she knew he meant it well, but the becomming mother in her went into defence mode, ready to strike.
Damon raised his hands "its only a suggestion i'd like you to think through"
She had a fierce expression on but wondered what she would tell to people who see her pregnant, everyone asking where her baby went?
He offered her to stay at RPS during the obvious months but that only made her more furious feeling locked up
"You might be right that William is too young... and I am... me. But to take our baby...?"
Damon never meant to offend her "that is just a way that would make it easier for William and is th best for him and his future.
i can not judge about you in any way " he raised a hand "i know a kid belongs to it's mother, but in some cases its more peaceful and reasonable to do differently."
Annabelle felt like crying, was he trying to explain her that shed not worthy of William's child? She sucked it up thinking of the consequences even tough it
pained her to be separated from her child. Damon shook his head "i didnt wanted to dish this to you as a fact , i wanted to hear your opinion about it."
"it's cruel" she replied, feeling much like starting to curse at him loudly.
"then pretend i never said it" Damon stepped back to leave her space.
"Though I suspects you ment well... you offended me deep just now. To use fancy words in a way of saying I am no good choice for your son... or your grandchild",
she was angry, and had all rights to be, "You don't say things like that to me, mr Rodriguez."
Damon felt misunderstood by his try to help, "i apologize but i was not meanign to say your not a good choice, i told its too early and you know that too, he is 18!
you should have thought of that before you decided to make out with him, your not the sole person to blame for these happenings i know that,
but it was your responsibility too as elder. Destroying my son's steady future with a sudden child and family instead of building his career is unfair
and i only offered a way to put a fullspot into this story. I never said i wouldnt hope you stay together and build your life together in a less speedy pace."
She watched him, "will the child ever know it?"
"for sure. at an age he or she could understand, i wouldnt want it to live in a lie THAT is unfair." he watched her too.
Annabelle looked slightly down, not saying she would think about it, but her expression gave the hint away.
Damon lowered his head as well "i have..two adoptive sons who both know the truth."
She raised her head again , turning around to leave "For Williams sake... I will think about it... "
