Minutes passed by feeling like hours. Everyone was silent to hear possible signs,
only the occassional deep cracking of the ice was in the air mixed with the sounds of stepping in the frozen snow.
As soon as Nört had kneeled down Kat grabbed the rock again, smashing it against the ice with it finally starting to crack.
When something flickered to her left "THERE! OVER THERE", she forgot about the rock and scrambled along the ice towards the light.
It was just barely visible covered by the snow until Kat whipped it away staring at the ice.
Everyone turned around at her and yelled to each other excitedly. Nört stumbled over to her, thinking Vidar indeed had luck that Kat
recognized it and started to hammer powerfully next to vidar into the ice with the sharp icepick.
Vidar didnt realize the sound of it at first since he was daaamn slow. But when Nört got through the ice finally he awoke from the
"standby-mode" XD. Most of the hunters stayed away because Nört and Kat around the area were enough weight on the Surface.

Nört held Vidar, pulling him out but his soaked clothes made him vvvveery heavy. Kat leaned forward and grabbed Vidar's coat
and helped to pull, being sure even dry he was no daisy to lift.
Vidar started moving too and crawled out and bit away from the water then collapsed into the snow gasping out loud and coughing.
Nört looked at Kat giving her a surprised glace, while she looked at Vidar almost asking "how are you even conscious???"

Shivering and still gasping for air between coughs he moaned into the snow, "where is my horse?!"

The hunters made a siiigh rolling their eyes and looking at Kalinka. She stood there pointing her ears at her rider worriedly.
"We should get him off the ice and dry before he somehow falls back in" Kat suggested and the guys agreed, helping up their leader
who felt like ice himself. He held a hand out towards Kat slightly.
"You're lucky I don't slap you. I SHOULD slap you. You so don't get to lead anymore!", she looks as if someone had been trying to strangle her, but she took Vidar's hand, probably cutting off the ciculation she squeezed it so hard. Not like he could feel his hands anyway.

Vidar started to shiver a lot "mm m m mma make me". Archie discussed with the Hunters to bring Vidar to the closest stay for
skiiers and mountain-wanderers that was not far from the lake. There was no way to get back like this to the entrants.
"OH OH I WILL. I WILL. PIENSA que ACABA DE INTERRUPCION de IR POR EL HIELO EN MI Y CASI se MUERE.
"¿MI CABALLO no FUE que EL QUE PISO LA CORRIENTE FUE EL??", Vidar didnt knew if his mind was acting funny or she was talking
spanish again in her stressy situation, for not understanding a single word. She agreed then to Archie about the stay
and got silent as she watched Vidar walking to Kalinka limping badly in his leg. He felt like he'd have been through a car crash.
Kalinka neighed silently when he stroke her, he was glad and surprised she got away with a few scratches.

Kat stepped closer and he leaned to her giving her a shivering kiss "mmmyy hero".
"Do you need help with him Kat? We cant leave Kalinka at they stay they have no stable and no hay, we bring her tomorow back
aand dry clothes for him.." Archie started to plan. "yy yyour ss s stttill under m mmyy command... i c c ccan s send you..home rr..rrr
rright now, WATCH your tone" Vidar mounted Kalinka like he'd mount a horse the first time in his life.
Kat's expression softened by his words and also wondered how he knew she was the one seeing the light. "No..i got him. sounds good"

On the way to the stay Vidar's wet hair and beard froze, making him look greying. Kalinka very carefully stepped around
feeling her rider's weak commands. Black completely was flowing with the situation, being caught in by the stress of everyone
and cooperated willingly. He never experienced so strong emotions around humans like this before.
