Close before the White December started, Vidar was out with his Hunters and tracked down a herd.
They were in a tricky valley, any wrong move making the herd alert and disappear in the forests.
Vidar chose a path that was safe to stay unrecognized, but one stallion messed up his planning again x)
He cantered down to the herd as soon as he recognized the hunters along the mountain's back
and alarmed them to flee. Until Vidar's guys were there , only some hoof steps were left in all directions.
And in the corner of his eye a black shape dashing into a forest path...
"gotcha" he muttered and pushed Kalinka to the fasted gallop she could handle in the snow,
chasing after the Black one. His men were unable to follow the speed and quick jumps through the forest

and suddenly. he was gone. Just for a little while he looked somewhere else and he disappeared.
" Oh you may hide my friend, but you wont mess up another herding, when i am back from the trail you better watch out"
