i just saw the Golden Compass...and HAD to draw Lyo and his Daemon ,a Lion XD
Its almost the only animal who would represent Lyo's soul...

EDIT:

since i submitted this deviation i made some changes and want to add some info ^^

a big cat....A Lion..independent, self-assured, dangerious, Playful..but he is a born Leader, brave and mighty.

however..yes Lyo's Daemon has the same sex like himself...its told those people are somewhat special or homosexual xD
His crew is guessing its because a female Lion never could show his soul, that absolute naturallity of respect, anywhere he appears, that king likeness and actually laziness nobody is recognizing xD

His Lion doesnt really has a name....except "Lion". Maybe Lyo should show his creativity of giving names..again ?!
