William felt oddly confident in the saddle throughout the warm-up but when his starting number came on... a knot started to shape in his throat.
Why couldn't things be as easy and laid back like at home on the training field, they did so many clear rounds but it was enough to have Koda
LET ALONE his father watch, he'd do one mistake after the other. He wanted to be flawless for this one time to prove he didn't fail at training
and that his horse is a polished jewel that was just hidden in a box, too scared to be compared to all the other shinies out there.
He inhaled deeply and exhaled sloowly, trying to collect all of his positive thoughts and shook out his hands of the tension.
"Ozzy if i pass out just run along ok?" he petted the roan's hot neck and led him into the arena, already earning a JUDGING stare of the judge,
